ECZEMA CREAMS

What is Eczema? It is essentially caused by the skin barrier malfunctioning or being 'leaky' and losing too much moisture. This results in the skin becoming dry. When the skin is dry, it allows more irritants to penetrate the skin which can result in inflammation, redness and itching. There is no cure for eczema, but it can be effectively managed and many children will grown out of it eventually. The more moisturised you can keep your skin, the better. 

We have tried and tested pretty much all of the creams said to be good for eczema over the years. Some worked really well, some didn't, some worked well for a while then seemed to stop working quite so well. What works for some may not work for others but here is a list of possibilities to help stop the itch...
