Location: Covent Garden
This is a fun place to visit right in the heart of Covent Garden. Featuring all sorts of things to do with transport in London and Britain - buses, trams, trains and underground trains with lots of interactive things for children, including driving a bus, dressing up and a stamper trail. There is also the new baby DLR - a space just for babies. There is a new 'Hidden London' exhibition, featuring information about London's forgotten underground stations. There are also tours available of these stations whihc you can book through the Transport Museum website but please note these are only available for people over the age of 14.
Useful Information: There are 2 cafes and picnics are welcomed at weekends and school holidays. Children under 17 are free. Adults pay for entry then get free entry for up to 1 year. Website: www.ltmuseum.co.uk/
