We love London Zoo. There are so many animals and things of interest to look at there and all in very pleasant surroundings. There are lots of different areas: Penguin Beach, Gorilla Kingdom, Land of the Lions, Tiger Territory, In With The Spiders, In With The Lemurs, In With The Monkeys, B.U.G.S., Rainforest Life, the Reptile House, Into Africa, Meerkats and Otters, Bird Safari, The Outback, The Farmyard and the Wildlife Garden and the Butterfly Paradise with its fabulous butterflies...the list goes on. There are daily talks about many of the animals and there are numerous rest areas / childrens changing areas and even a playground and a new mini golf course.There are a number of kiosks on site selling drinks and sandwiches and also an indoor restaurant.

Travelling there - There are bus stops outside of the zoo which go to Baker Street or Camden Town and you can get a waterbus from Camden Lock or Little Venice. You can walk from Regent's Park or Great Portland Street Tube (15 mins). There is a car park on site.
